I will miss our 11pm chats and me getting on him to check his sugar. Forever will your blue eyes be in my memory.He was a wonderful grandpa and Izabellas best friend. They stole cookies together and Ice cream before dinner and thought ip and i didnt know.
He taught her things that Ip and I would of never thought of. RJ III will never NOT know his grandfather and how wonderful he was. I promise that to you poppy! I love you and miss you already,.tootles for now but not forever

May he rest in peace in the arms of the Lord. May his family find comfort in that he is no longer suffering and is enjoying the company of his departed family and friends.

Prayers and heartfelt thoughts to him and the entire family from many miles away. The majority of my memories of grandpa Rich stem back from a time of great pain when as kids, we were losing our dad to cancer. Though not perfect, he was there for us when we needed him and made sure to keep our minds focused on other matters rather than the inevitable loss to come. I was only 9 at the time but I know that had it not been for those times, none of us would be where we are. In a very indirect way, I'd say I might never have wound up where I am today. If it weren't for him, I would not have the mother nor the aunt that I have who I am so grateful for. If it weren't for those days, Doug may never have come into our lives. Therefore my brothers would not be present and I wouldn't have eventually years later moved to Texas and stayed with Doug's cousin and made a home down here for myself. What small interactions that seemed so long ago, and so tiny, truly would have changed the course of my life if altered even a bit. So thank you for that. 

I thank God that you are no longer in pain and I pray for all who are grieving that they may come to understanding and feel joy again soon. I pray that family can come together and put differences aside realizing that our time is much too short. 

My apologies in advance that I cannot be present as i live 1400 miles away.
