Mary "Mez" DeRose Lewis

MARY "Mez" LEWIS (nee DeRose), Sunrise July 5,1922 - Sunset May 5, 2013. Mez was married for 45 years to the late Robert. She is survived by her dearly loved and devoted children, Barbara and Robert (Leslie); adored grandchildren Christopher and Katie and wonderful sister-in-law Kathy. She leaves her marvelous nieces and nephews Susan Reddy (Neil) and William (Cindy), Kym, Christian and Matthew DeRose. She was the first female employee in the U.S. Secret Service, where she was sworn in by Don Miller, U.S. District Attorney for Northern Ohio, who was one of the famed Four Horseman of Notre Dame. Do not shed tears. Mez is happy to be clasped in the waiting and loving arms of her father and mother, Domenic and Mary; she is being embraced by her loving sister Violet (Thompson) and brothers William and Robert. They have been waiting for her to join them and other beloved relatives in joyful and eternal peace. It is written in the book. Family will receive friends Saturday 10 - 12 Noon at the CRACIUN FUNERAL HOME, 14925 E. BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HTS., where services will be held Saturday 12 Noon. Interment West Park Cemetery.
