Dearest Ditche, Jeffrey,Diane and kids,  Jessica , Basil and kids and Jocelyn , Brett and kids:

Let me extend to you my condolences , fervent prayers and loving thoughts as you go through the pain of losing Your beloved husband and father. Please allow the Lord God Almighty to comfort you in times like these. The Holy Spirit is truly faithful so much so that we could hold on to His promise never to leave us nor forsake us. 

We always pray moment by moment so that Tito Jorge would be held close to the bosom of our Father God.

We will remember the joys, love and laughter we shared while he was with us. He loved us like a real dutiful servant of God. We will rejoice in the fact that he was found faithful to the Lord until the end. 

We would cherish that thought that Tito Jorge would come back  and see the green golf course in summer, the leaves changing color in autumn , the hills covered in snow on winter and the gorgeous colors of his flowering plants in springtime including those invincible deer attacks . Most of all , he would come back and fill our hearts with love as we wait in joyful hope for reuniting with him once more in due time for all eternity!

Worked with many physicians in my career which spans 40 years. Never admired  and respected  a physician as much as Dr Jandi. He served and helped so many people in this world especially on  missions to the Philippines..Raised  a beautiful family which I have been fortunate to know most of my life and call friends. Rest in peace , heaven has another angel

Our most sincere condolences and prayers to Zeny and the entire family of Jorge Jandi, who embodied the very best qualities of such an inspirational role model for our northern Ohio Filipino community, including joy, eagerness, tireless enthusiasm, dedication to family and friends, and especially a love for golf! I have so many memories of Tito Jorge and all of them lighthearted and fun, a rare thing to say about a person. One of my earliest was when I was five, during my first visit to the US. I vaguely recall that we went on a tour with our big group of family. The places we visited are a blur in my memory now, but he was one of the very few I remember a bit more clearly whenever I think back on that trip. Funny thing was, in the very few pictures that existed of that trip, I donâ€™t remember seeing him in any. But in my mind, he was the Uncle with the gadgets; he carried a bulky VHS recorder and a video camera to document the familyâ€™s experiences. I remembered because he was the cheery Uncle in the group. Years of living in the US has not changed his signature tender â€œIlonggoâ€ accent. Sometimes, when he talked, you didnâ€™t know if he was being serious or not! 
Back home, he used to send us copies of films he recorded in the VHS â€“ The Sound of Music, Star Wars, Annie, the cartoon version of The Hobbit, and many other 80s films that my siblings and I used to watch over and over. He used to send us recorded cassette tapes of him singing classic pop and the oldies, and yes, as kids, we listened to them, several times in fact. He was the â€œFrank Sinatraâ€ of the family and he has influenced my sometimes â€œold personâ€ taste in music!
We always looked forward to Tito Jorge and Tita Zenyâ€™s yearly visits to the Philippines because they always brought a fun and positive vibe and affect others to be the same. They were the best travel buddies because they liked to go and walk around and explore. They even brought me with them once, long ago, to meet his family in Bacolod.
He was also the one I turn to whenever I needed help with editing family pictures or if I needed a US address to send my purchases to.
We were fortunate to have spent some quality time with him when we visited some months ago. He treated my kids the same way he treated me when I was a kid. He made breakfast for them (his signature milk toast and fried rice!), carved pumpkins, let them play in the basement, made sure that they had fun. He was my husbandâ€™s golf mentor and thrift store buddy and he made hand-sketched maps as my husband drove us around to our destinations. I must say, he wasnâ€™t very effective as a human â€œGPSâ€ because we got lost several times!  But they really bonded a lot that they started to dress the same, lol!
Tito Jorge has touched so many lives in so many positive ways, with the countless medical missions and outreach programs throughout the years, and he has touched mine and my familyâ€™s lives the same way. We will miss his fun presence. He will forever be remembered by my family and I as the groovy and kind Uncle.

Our Phil Am community just lost a great leader and a tireless supporter of The Philippine American Society of Ohio , The Association of Philippine American Physicians of Ohio and many other organizations.  An avid golfer, computer whiz and a good friend to many, he will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace, old friend!
