Victor Medina-Benitez

Victor Medina-Benitez, beloved brother, father, and grandfather, 90, passed away June 11, 2017. He was born February 25, 1927 in Catano, Puerto Rico and resided with his daughter Marilyn Roldan (Jose) Middleburg, Florida. He worked as a Longshoreman and in the Manufacturing Industry for HVAC for many years. He enjoyed going to Thoroughbred Horse Racing and enjoyed wood working, inventing games and loved to walk. He loved family birthdays, birthday cake and knew the birthday song in English. Mr. Medina-Benitez is survived by his siblings, Regina Morales, Germania Medina, Jose A. Medina, Roberto Medina, and Maria S. James, sons; Victor Jr,. (preceded Trudy), William (Jessie), Irving (Yolanda), Edwin (Rosa), Ivan and daughters, Marilyn (Jose), and Evelyn, also a few step-children. He has 19 grandchildren and numerous Great-grandchildren and a few Great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Saturday June 17, 2017 with 1 hour prior visitation at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Road Middleburg, Florida 32068.
