Susan Marie Chase

Susan Marie Chase, age 67, passed away May 9th, 2023. She was born in Weehawken, New Jersey. Graduated from Union Hill High School in 1973. Worked as a legal secretary in New York for about a decade. Moved to Florida and continued working at Smith, Hulsey, and Busey law firm. Later became co-owner of MEKS Small Engine Repair. She was also a cancer survivor and enjoyed reading, puzzles, and going on cruises.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Chase, daughter, Kelly Chase, sister, Jeannette Schouweiler, brother, John De Fina, brother-in-law, Steven Schouweiler, nephews, Christian Schouweiler and Joseph Campbell, and great niece and nephew, Courtney Burcham and Jeremiah Schouweiler.

Memorial service will be held at be held at 5pm and the family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm at Holly Hill Funeral Homes on May 18th, 2023. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Safe Animal Shelter.
