Robert William Wolf

Robert William Wolf, 79, of Orange Park, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. Robert was born October 4, 1941 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania to the late Isabelle Davis and William Simon. Robert served in the United States Navy for 24 years and retired honorably while serving as a Naval Flight Officer. He also diligently worked 23 years and retired from Middleburg High School educating students as a Physics professor. His passion for academics resonated with his students. Robert consistently lived by his "Work Smarter Not Harder" attitude and pushed his students to follow those same principles. He always wanted to make learning fun and exciting for everyone.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carole Wolf; son Dave Wolf; and daughter Wendy Jo Mason (Duane); three brothers Terry Wolf (Susan), Jerry Wolf (Sharlene) and Gary Wolf; grandchildren Kyle Wolf (Mallory), Kayla Anderson (Brandon), Ashlee Vavao (Angel), John Story (Kristina), Taylor Wolf (Rachel), Danielle Story, Riggs Wolf, and Riley Wolf, great grandchildren Grayson and Kennedy Wolf, Emma Anderson, Noah and London Vavao, Haileigh and Haiden Story and Kaleb and Oaklee Wolf. Robert also has two new great grandchildren scheduled to be added to his loving family in July.

Robert was preceded in death by his Mother Isabelle Davis, and Fathers William Simon and Hiram Davis as well as his Sister Sharlene Meier (John).

A Visitation will be held 3 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2021 with a Memorial Service with Military Honors following at 4 PM at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1614 Blanding Blvd, Middleburg, FL.
