Robert Wade Augustine, age 82, passed away April 17, 2021 in Middleburg, Florida. Robert was born on August 14, 1938 in Parkersburg, WV to Arthur Augustine and Opal Witherow Augustine. He retired from NADEP Jacksonville, and also proudly served in the United States Navy. Robert was a member of First Baptist Church of Middleburg. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather and will be deeply and sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Opal Augustine. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife Margaret Augustine; his sons Randall W. Augustine and Paul Nicholas Rio; daughters Amanda Beth Morgan (Jonathan) and Olivia Walela Daisley Beauchain; brother David Luther Augustine (Tina); sisters Connie Lynn Witherow and Janie Kyle Boicourt (Jeff); and grandson Joshua Michael Morgan.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25th, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, Florida 32068. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 26th, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist of Middleburg, 2645 Blanding Blvd., Middleburg, Florida 32068. Friends may gather at the church beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Monday for those unable to attend the visitation on Sunday. Burial will follow at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218 at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Guests joining the family for the committal service are requested to meet in lane 2 at the national cemetery prior to 2:30 p.m.
