Rick was an Eagle Scout Leader and a Boy Scout Leader for Troop # 653 for over 12 years and continued volunteering in the kitchen for years afterwards. He also led a Venture Scout Troop.
Rick is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Patricia Allen. Children: Richard H. (Olivia) Allen, Jr.; Joshua Magnus; Erica L. (Andrew) Peter and Rachel N. Allen. Six grandchildren Jacob Peter, Hailey Peter, Andrew "Cooper" Peter, Teaken Allen, Judah Allen and Archer Allen.
