Ralph Edwin Simms, 86, passed away on July 12, 2016. He was born February 11, 1930 in Beckley, West Virginia and resided in Umatilla, Florida. He was a simple and kind man. He showed by how he lived his life that being kind and gentle are not complicated things. He loved to garden and tinker with things, especially cars. His trade was a Ford mechanic. He was preceded in life by the love of his life, his wife Reba. Mr. Simms is survived by his sons; Ralph Edwin Simms Jr. (Jimmy Sue) and Michael Simms, daughter; Connie Bird (Les) and 2 grandchildren.
