Oscar Willis Bentley, 83, passed away on October 30, 2010 in Orange Park, FL. He was born in Manchester, Vermont. Mr. Bentley served in the US Army during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of the Eagle, Moose, First Commander of Orange Park VFW Post 5968 for 2 terms, District 6 Commander and the VA Hospital visitation team. Mr. Bentley was predeceased by his parents: Gordon J. and Ethel M. Bentley; brother, Gordon; and sister, Phylis. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Vivian M. Bentley; son, David A. Bentley; daughter, Diana L. Nash; step-son, Mark Irving; step-daughter, Sherrie Gentry; brother, Charlie; sister, Stella and Sara; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM on Wednesday at the chapel and funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday, November 4, 2010 at HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL with Chaplin Jerry Walden officiating.
