Jo Anne Kelly of Orange Park, FL went to join her Lord & family in heaven on April 13, 2019. She died peacefully at Orange Park Medical Center, after a short illness and was surrounded by her loving family and Pastor. Jo was born in Pontiac, MI on December 14, 1940 to the late Thomas E. Folsom and Ida Moshier Folsom. She is survived by her brother Dale (Phyllis) Folsom, Waterford, MI; sister Donna (Larry) Heflin, Rochester Hills, MI; two sons Chris (Brenda) Lacy of Lake City and Chuck (Lisa) Lacy of Orange Park; Granddaughter-Shelby Lacy of Orange Park , two Grandsons Josh (Rachael) Brunick Middleburg and Brandon Brunick Orange Park, and many nieces and nephews in MI. Jo is preceded in death by a daughter Michelle Lacy.
She was an active member of the Advent Lutheran Church Orange Park, FL and the VFW Women’s Axillary Post 5968 where she held the position of Chaplain, was actively involved in many fundraisers, lead the “wreath laying” at Jacksonville National Cemetery and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Advent Lutheran Church, 2156 Loch Rane Blvd, Orange Park, FL in the Fellowship Hall from 10am to 11am on Saturday, April 20, 2019. A celebration of life will be held in the sanctuary immediately following at 11:00am April 20, 2019. Rev. Gerald “Jerry” Nordsiek Jr. will be officiating the services. A memorial service will be held at the VFW Post 5968, 187 Arora Blvd, Orange Park FL 32073, immediately after the celebration of life.
