Janie Marie Newton Altizer

Janie Marie Newton Altizer, 82, passed away on December 14, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Nash County, NC and was a Supervisor at the Navy Exchange. She was devoted to her family and loved to have them around her.

Janie was survived by her loving husband, Charles "Chuck" R. Altizer; 4 children: Terri (James) Sanchez, Daniel (Jodie) Altizer, Sheila (Ronald) Kirstatter and Judy (Jim) Campbell; grandchildren: Tara (Ryan) Ramsey, Jay Sanchez, Vanessa Fernandez, Sabrina (Anthony) Ayers, Nicole Altizer (Randall Barry) , Lisa Altizer, Shane Altizer, Shauna (Bryan) Wright, John "Trey" (Courtney) Gates, Jenny Gates, Mike Campbell and Billy Campbell; great-grandchildren: Robby Ramsey, Rachel Ramsey, Marlee Sanchez, Maelyn Sanchez, Tanner Fernandez, Judah Ayers, Juliette Ayers, Elijah Barry, Emily Barry, Taylor Barry, Caiden Barry, Weston Wright, Avery Wright, Georgia Wright, Olivia Gates, Jae Gates, Amelia Gates, Dallas Pryor, Stephen Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Ashley Campbell, Noel Campbell, and Mikey Campbell; and a host of extended family and friends. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
