James Irvine Louitza, 71 years old, was a long time and faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for over 40 years. After his months long battle with cancer, he passed to his rest on October 14, 2017. From Norton, Virginia, Jim had resided in Jacksonville, Florida for the last 20 years. Proceeded in death by parents Burley Louitza and Lillian Fields Dillinger. Before his sickness, he had been a long haul truck driver for 33 years. He was a car and music enthusiast and loved showing his walking horses at equestrian events. He greatly enjoyed playing his guitar and being a member of many bands in his youth. He is survived by his wife Linda Boyce Louitza, sister Anita Varnadore, step son Allen Westfall, many nieces and nephews, his aunt Betty Carol (Thurston) Dotson of Montana, Eddie (Mary) Isolani of Clearwater, Florida, and very special friends Tim Forney from Norton, Virginia, and Bill Keeton from Orlando, Florida.
He elected cremation. Services will be on 10-27-17 at the Jacksonville First Seventh-day Adventist Church, 7951 Lenox Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32221 at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the church.
