Dolores remained active over the years volunteering at Orange Park Medical Center for several years, was an active YMCA member participating in water and exercise classes and participating in the Middleburg Senior Center activities. She continued playing bingo at the senior center until her recent illness. One of her favorite nights out was going to play bingo at the Elks Club in Green Cove Springs. She was also an avid lotto player reminding everyone you can’t win if you don’t buy the ticket. Her favorites were scratch off tickets and she rarely missed those weekly, mega million and Powerball games.
She enjoyed being a “snowbird” spending summers in NY with her children and also travelling to CA and WA states to visit her children when they resided on the west coast. There are so many fun and special memories about Dolores especially those with the grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, holiday celebrations and her very special 86th birthday party with participation by out-of-town relatives who wished her a special Happy Birthday via Zoom.
