She was born May 15, 1953 in Cumberland, Maryland and moved to Middleburg, Florida in 1984.
She was the daughter of the late Gerald and Dorothy Raygor. Ms. Meehan was employed at NAS Jax as an Information Technology Specialist for 25 years before she retired to become a full time Grandmother.
During her employment she received many awards for outstanding performance.
She was a member of the Red Hat Lady Society. Surviving are her two sons Sean Meehan and Daniel (Danny) Meehan, husband Charles Hale, three grandchildren Sarah, Lauren and Kaden Meehan. She is also survived by her three sisters Theresa Hanna, Robin Emerick, Kelly Raygor, and brother Curtis Raygor. Friends will be received Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Holly Hills Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Rd Middleburg Florida. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday February 2, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, with Father Andy as the celebrant.
The family suggests that memorials take the form of donations to the American Diabetes Association.
