Conrad Henry Irish, age 84, joined his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 27th. He was born in Jamestown, New York on August 26, 1936, to Henry and Martha Irish. Conrad dedicated four years of service to the U.S. Navy as an aviation mechanic and spent several decades as a supervisor in the Dairy Industry.
He is preceded in death by his youngest son, Daniel Irish; granddaughter, Tara Channell; great-grandson, Logan Channell, and his 3 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Myrna; son, Timothy Irish (Wynona); daughter, Rhonda Philips (Kelley); daughter-in-law, Ellen Irish (widow of son, Daniel); as well as 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, who affectionately knew him as “Papa.”
During his free time, Conrad enjoyed woodworking and became very skilled in this craft. He also cherished spending time with his family, friends and grand-dog “Pixie.” He walked faithfully with God and served as a member of Hibernia Baptist Church. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Pastor Scott Yirka will officiate a funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 2nd, 2021 at Hibernia Baptist church, located at 7100 US-17 in Fleming Island. The church will host a reception following the service. Following the reception, a graveside service for the family will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Park, located at 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068.
