Sara A. Williams, 81, of Miamisburg, OH passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024. She was born May 23, 1943 to the late Ruth and James Toadvine and was a lifelong resident of Miamisburg. Sara married the love of her life, Warren R. Williams, on July 8, 1961.
She was an avid reader and historian, and did the family genealogy. Sara took care of whoever needed something. She cooked food & delivered it all over, and crocheted many blankets for whoever needed one. She loved to travel, especially to the beach. She was unbeatable at putt-putt and enjoyed playing card games. Sara loved her family, they were her main focus, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bill Toadvine and Bonna Lehman; brother-in-law, Harold “Teddy” Foust; son-in-law, Geoff Guntle; uncle, Russell Toadvine; mother-in-law, Anna Pearl Williams; and sister-in-law, Alice Williams.
Sara is survived by her husband of 63 years, Warren R. Williams; daughters, Angela Guntle and Lori (Carl) Marcus; grandchildren, Christopher Guntle, Taylor Guntle (Hannah Dowrey), Dylan (Hope) Guntle, and Ethan Marcus (Ally Lewis); great-grandchildren, Jackson Guntle, Calvin Guntle, Caleb Adams, and Tate Guntle; siblings, Gloria Foust, Chuck (Shirley) Toadvine, Dale (Jeane) Toadvine; sister-in-law, Wendy Toadvine; brothers-in-law, Tony Lehman and Wayne Williams; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many dear friends and loved ones.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, October 11, 2024 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg, OH. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home with Brian and Sarah Pelphrey officiating. Graveside service will follow at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg, OH.
