Ralph W. Rohr Jr.

ROHR, Ralph W. Jr., 65, of Miamisburg passed away July 12, 2011, at Kingston of Miamisburg. Ralph was a U.S. Navy veteran, member of Millennium Lodge 779 F & AM Dayton Ohio and an avid Cleveland Browns and Dayton Dragons fan, but his passions were cooking and baking for his family and friends. He was an internal auditor for Kroger, Gray Drug and Revco Drug and he also was employed as a bookkeeper for Ron’s BP and worked at Miamisburg Meat Market. Ralph was born September 8, 1945 in Milan, IN to the late Ralph Sr. and Thelma (Selmeyer) Rohr. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Charlene (Weiss). He was a devoted father to Jacob (Amy) and Rebecca Rohr and loving grandpa to Joshua and Caitlyn Rohr. He is also survived by a sister, Cheryl (Ret Cmdr George) Blessing; nephew, Marshal and many extended family, friends and special friends Jesse Evans and Paul Davis. Services celebrating his life will begin with calling hours from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT- PARRAMORE Funeral Home, 508 E. Linden Ave. Miamisburg Masonic services will follow at 7:00 PM and a memorial service at 7:30 PM, officiated by Pastor P. Daniel Fant. A private family burial service will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton Ohio 45420 in Ralph’s memory.
