

She was born January 10, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Donald and Florence (Porter) Blackburn.
Nina was a 1956 graduate of Miamisburg High School and was the granddaughter of Mr. Sherman Porter, the originator of Miamisburg’s infamous Hamburger Wagon. She retired from the Sears Company after 20 years of service. Nina was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Miamisburg. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, shopping, and most of all, spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband of 59 1/2 years, Glenn Bennett; children, Sheryl (Ron) Blackburn, Marianne (Art) Dull, and Patricia (Scott) Damron; grandchildren, Carleigh (Eli) Hayes, Kyle Blackburn, Lyndsey (Will) Hutson, Katie (Nathan) Carmack, Haley Damron, and Rachel Damron; great grandchildren, Larkin, Cole, and Finley; sister-in-law, Winnie Morgan; as well as niece, Joyce Swoger.
Nina was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William & Mildred Bennett.
A funeral service will be held at 5 PM on Monday, March 13, 2017 in the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg with Pastor P. Daniel Fant officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-5 PM. Inurnment will be held in Hillgrove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
