Laura Jean Ratliff Sizemore, age 81 of Miamisburg, Ohio formerly of Henderson, Nevada passed away on September 26, 2024 at Kettering Medical Center. Laura was born to the late Cecil and Bernice Ratliff of Whitehouse, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Sizemore and brothers - Willis, Greg, and Terry Ratliff.
She is survived by two sisters- Della Grooms of Dayton, Ohio, Cheryl Keaton (Wayne) of Fort Myers, Florida, one brother Alvin Ratliff of Morehead, Kentucky, and Sister-in-law Barbara Ratliff of Miamisburg, Ohio Along with several nieces and nephews.
Laura spent 30 years working for the Dayton Police Department which was a career she was very proud of and had no problem telling you about. Upon retirement she moved to Henderson, Nevada where she lived until 2021. She moved back to Ohio to be closer to family.
Final internment will be in the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.
