Judy, a life long resident of Miamisburg, graduated High School with the Class of 1954. Soon after she began working for D.P.& L. where she retired in 1989. She married William "Bill" Tirey on August 25, 1956. Their 40 year marriage was loving and full of adventure.
Judy was an avid reader who enjoyed knitting, listening to music and playing cards. She had excellent penmanship, was a superb cook and "kept a good camp". Above all she adored her family and doted over her grandchildren and pets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill and sister Kathy Kingsley of Nancy, KY.
She is survived by her children Molly (Ron) Vincent and Christopher W. Tirey of Miamisburg; grandchildren Megan, Laura, Will, Ashley and Justin; great granddaughter Riley Ann; brother John W. Jr. (Geri) Matter of Lakeview, OH, sisters Brenda (David) Kingsley of Nancy KY and Susan (Jim) Schlipf of Salem OR. Judy also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private service will be held at a later date.
