Joyce A. Thompson Philpot

PHILPOT, Joyce A., age 75 of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties, Franklin. She was born July 25, 1938 in Miamisburg to the late Charles and Nellie (Perry) Thompson. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Warren “Junior” Philpot in 2004 and her brothers, Donnie Thompson and Charles Thompson, Jr. She is survived by her children, Gary L. (Pamela) Philpot of Middletown, Wanda (David) Patterson of Miamisburg, Lynda (Larry) Patterson of Miamisburg and Mark L. Philpot of West Carrollton; grandchildren, Bill (Stacy) Philpot, Rachel (Jimmy) Tinch, Josh (Jenn) Philpot, Cara (Randy) Hoffman, Brandon (Christina) Patterson, Michelle (Justin) Sharkey, Mandy (Dustin) Ferguson, Andrew (Danielle) Patterson, Anthony Philpot and Chelsea Philpot; great grandchildren, Gigi, Gabe, Evelyn, Matti, Jozzi, Zac, Isiah, Ellie, Mikaela, Lucas, Eli and Graham; sisters, Wanda (Lannie) Marshall and Judy (Cartis) Profitt both of Miamisburg and numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce dedicated most of her life to her family as a homemaker, mother and wife. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, February 21, 2014 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will begin 10:00 AM Saturday, February 22, 2014 also at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor David Schenck. Burial will follow at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties at 5940 Long Meadow Dr., Franklin, OH 45005.
