Joan Louise Schneider

She was born on February 9, 1924 in Richmond, Indiana, the daughter of Thomas and Alma (Elkins) Larimore.

Joan was a vibrant, independent lady who was always there to help. She loved her dog, Leah. Joan lived a long great life and was known for being a fashionista. She enjoyed knitting, cross stitching, and baking her pies. Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and neighbor. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Jayne (Mike) Miller; daughter-in-law, Sue Schneider; grandchildren, Marc Miller, Andrea (Darrin) Honious, Carrie (Bob) Shumard, Josh (Suzy) Schneider; great grandchildren, Hannah Miller, Breana Honious, and Carlee Honious, Jake (Maddie) Shumard, Drew Shumard, Anna Shumard, and Kate Shumard, Finleigh Schneider, and Sloane Schneider.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Schneider; her son, Thomas Schneider.

A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg. Services are entrusted to GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg.
