James Leroy Collins

Jimmy Collins was born in Jackson Ohio on January 15th, 1936. He graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1954. He was a Senior Letterman in Football, Basketball and Golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents James L Collins and Mary A Collins, and Sister Jane Collins-Shell

He was survived by his wife Elba Collins, his sister Sue Collins-Pettit and Children Jim Collins, Arlene Renee Collins-Tuck, William Scott Collins, Jonathon M Collins, and Step-Children Tom Capone, Ray Capone, Donna Watson, Vincent Capone, Alan Capone, and Joe Capone.

And many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren and friends and family.

Jimmy retired from Delphi Harrison Radiator.

Jimmy was an avid golfer. He had many friends at Pipestone Golf Course and Mound Golf Course in Miamisburg Ohio. Those who know Jimmy know he was not only an avid golfer, but one of the best golfers.

Jimmy also found joy by going fishing & going to the horse tracks. He loved going down to the river to fish with his children and grandchildren.

Jimmy will be missed by many for a number of reasons. He touched the lives of everyone he met.

A celebration of life will be held on November 20th at Pipestone Golf Course from 3:00 pm - 6:00pm.
