COX, Della Mae, age 94 of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Della Mae, daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta (Dillhoff) Rindler, was born August 4, 1921 and had been a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church for over 60 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald J. Cox, in 1991; sisters, Mary Kay Plassenthal, Juanita Schlorman, Joan Berry and Phyliss Hull; brothers, Paul, Tom and Gary Rindler, and infant siblings, Edward, Floyd and Frances Rindler. Della Mae is survived by her daughter, Diane (Chuck) Frisk of Beavercreek, OH; sons, Dale Cox of Wilmington, OH, Daniel (Debra) Cox of Charlottesville, VA, and Douglas (Jayne) Cox of Keswick, VA; grandchildren, Tonya Crabtree, Christina Jackson, Matt Cox, Denny Frisk, Deborah Offenberger, Gary Frisk, Amanda Wenzel, Brian Cox, Cory Cox, Caroline Cox, Amber Joyce and Logan Cox; step-grandchildren, Titus Jacobs and Todd Jacobs and 24 great-grandchildren. Della Mae is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Mangen, Doris (Bernard) Philpot; brother, Robert (Betty) Rindler, sisters-in-law, Carol Rindler and Goldie Cox and brother-in-law, Lee Hull, as well as many caring nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Don and Della Mae were married for 46 years. They enjoyed many years of making various types of crafts together and were members of the Miamisburg Starving Artist community. She was also an active member of Our Lady of Good Hope Alter Rosary Society and the Bereavement Committee as well as the Miamisburg Senior Center. Family will receive friends and loved ones during a gathering hosted Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 AM Monday, April 18, 2016 at Our Lady of Good Hope Church, Miamisburg and celebrated by Father Jim Romanello. Our Lady of Good Hope Cemetery, Miamisburg will serve as Della Mae’s final resting place.
