David L. Brockman

BROCKMAN, David L., age 74 years of Miamisburg, Ohio died Friday, June 24, 2011 at his home. He was born on May 24, 1937, a son of the late Urban and Mary (Courtney) Brockman in Miamisburg, Ohio. David retired from Leggett & Platt after 23 years. He was a devoted husband, a loving father & grandfather and a wonderful friend. David was a member of Rose Chapel Church. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carrie (Johnson) Brockman of Miamisburg; a daughter, Rebecca and Thomas Shrader of Miamisburg; a son, Daniel and Tammy Brockman of West Carrollton; grandchildren, Joshua Shrader, Linsey Shrader, Justin Brockman, Kyle Brockman, and Riley Brown; brothers, Robert and Harlene Brockman of Miamisburg, and Jerry Brockman of Lexington, NC; and sisters, Joyce Riddell and Donna Newton both of Miamisburg. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 1:30-3:00 P.M. at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, Miamisburg. Funeral services will begin 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
