Age 78 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Dayton on January 31, 1936 to the late, Howard and Wilma (Keller) Evans. Also preceding him in death is his wife, Chesta E. Evans; second wife, Michele Evans; sister, Phyllis Wagers; brothers, Bud Evans and Norman Hott. He is survived by children, Charles C. (Sue) Evans, Marla (Eric) Vincent, Chris (Gina) Evans, Sean (Holli) Evans, Dawn (Rob) Gray and step daughter, Brooke Snyder; grandchildren, Brandon Evans, Sean M. Evans, Eric Vincent Jr., Alex (Kelly) Vincent, Andrea Vincent, Dan Underwood, Tiffany Evans, Sarah Evans, Levi (JoJo) Benton, Sean A. Evans, Jagger Evans, Lexi Evans, Belle Evans, Kayla Yost, Nicholas Honeywell, Taylor Coby, Elliana Gray; great-grandchildren, Liam Vincent, Sienna Vincent; brother, David (Jeannie) Evans and many other extended family and special friends. Charles is a US Army veteran having served in the Korean War and has been a longtime member of the American Legion. He enjoyed collecting coins, NASCAR races; loved Ron’s Pizza and will always be remembered for being a dedicated, selfless family man. Friends and family may visit from 6-8pm on Sunday, October 12 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave. Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Funeral service at 11:00am on Monday, also at the funeral home with Pastor John Swint officiating. Entombment following at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville.
