Carol Sue Taylor Sizemore

SIZEMORE, Carol Sue, age 61 of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at LifeCare Hospital, Miamisburg. She was born September 20, 1953 in Dayton to the late Lewis Orville and Mary Edith (Moberly) Taylor. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her first husband, John Donovan Trochessett, Sr. and stepchildren, Logan Sizemore Jr. and Julia Sizemore. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Logan Sizemore, Sr., children, John Donovan (Hope) Trochessett, Jr. of Miamisburg, Tonya (Terry) McKown of Brookville, Shawn (Kelli) Sizemore of Miamisburg and Shane (Andie) Sizemore of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Donovan, Brandon, Nathan, Logan, Brady, Natalie, Cheyenne, Dustin, Brian, Brett, Macy, Chloe and Dalton; great grandchildren, Talen and Logan; sisters, Sara (Mike) Bell and Mary (Joe) Wilson both of Miamisburg as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Carol was a 1971 graduate of Miamisburg High School and worked for many successful area businesses including, NCR, Dempsey Industries, CDCI and Dayton Daily News. Her focus was always on her family and community as she was a lifelong member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and a member of the Eagles. It would be an understatement to say she was Willie Nelson’s number 1 fan but her other interests included cooking, dancing and caring for her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her laughter and joyful approach to life. Family will receive friends and loved ones from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at St. John Evangelical Luther Church, Miamisburg. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 pm also at the church and be officiated by Pastor Tina Scheuller. Burial will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville.
