William Ray Farwell

William R Farwell Born in Chicago , Illinois on October 3, 1930 passed away in Miami , Florida on August 25, 2015 William came to Coral Gables , Florida for his first Christmas on December 1930 and making this his Hometown .He attended Coral Gables Elementary School and graduated from Ponce de Leon High on June 1948. He attended both Universities of Oregon and University of Miami. William serviced in the Air Force from 1951-1955.He married Suzanne N Wheat on July 1958 and return to his hometown in Coral Gables on January 1959. Bill worked in the field of computer as a Programmer for various companies and finally with Metro Transit Agency for 19 years working in the areas of procurement and maintenance Record Management Bill loved serving as an Usher doing so for over 50 years starting when he was in the Air Force at St. Catherine of Siena and St. John Neumann Catholic Church. The Viewing for Mr. Farwell will be on Wednesday September 2 2015 from 5PM to 8PM at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South Funeral Home located at 11655 SW 117 Avenue Miami , Fl 33186 Funeral Mass on Thursday September 3 2015 at 10 AM the Funeral Mass will be held at St John Neumann Catholic Church located at 12025 SW 107 Avenue , Miami , Fl. Burial will take place at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South Cemetery immediately following the Mass. In Lieu of flowers donations could be made to St John Neumann Sacred Heart Outreach Center.
