Valois Jr. Pagan

December 22, 1940 – October 14, 2021

On the evening of October 14, 2021, Valois Pagán, Jr. of Coral Gables, FL entered into eternal rest at the age of 80. He was born in 1940 to Valois Pagán-Rivera and Olga Del Pilar Chamorro in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He was beloved husband of Edna Vazquez Pagán for over 55 years and devoted father to Vellisse Pagán Grimes and Valois Pagán III.

Honorably discharged from the US Coast Guard in 1970, Valois went on to earn his MBA from the University of Alabama working as a CPA for over 40 years, holding several executive management roles in public accounting as well as in governmental finance and administration.

Valois had a passionate love for classic cars and car shows. He was known for his sense of humor, political incorrectness, prank pulling and contagious laughter amongst his family and friends. He was happiest when surrounded by family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the American Legion and Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Coral Gables.

Valois is survived by his wife, Edna V. Pagán; Siblings: Zulma Raffo, Juan Osvaldo Pagán, Nandy Pagán and Victor Juan Pagán; Children: Vellisse Pagán Grimes and Valois Pagán III; Grandchildren: Sofía Mae Pagán, Olivia Grace Grimes and Daniel Felipe Pagán.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Caballero Rivero Westchester Funeral Home, 8200 Bird Road, Miami, FL 33155 starting at 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Memorial Service Mass at 11:30 a.m.
