Terrence Charles Floyd, 84. passed away on June 30th, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Rosemarie, grandson Garret, and great granddaughters Braelynn & Adelynn.
Terry was born November 12, 1938 in London, England and immigrated to America, where he settled in Sterling Heights, Michigan and worked for General Motors until moving with his wife and daughter, Terry Lynn, to their home in Kendall in 1969.
Terry established a strong reputation and many close friendships over the years as he built his heavy equipment business and participated in the Kendall chapter of Kiwanis International. Terry was also a skilled carpenter who was known for his methodical attention to detail. He was a friend of local law enforcement, volunteering at the local police department in his free time.
He will be remembered as a dedicated husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Funeral services will be held at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South 11655 SW 117 Ave. Miami, Fl 33186 on Thursday, July 13th at 2PM with a viewing at 12PM.
