Shan Hu was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She departed this world peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Guangzhou, China to Pak Kee Cai and Li Sa Tan. She embarked on a courageous and inspiring journey as an immigrant to the United States, seeking a better life for herself and her family. She is a testament to the power of determination, resilience, and devout hope.
She was a dedicated mother who poured her heart and soul into raising her children. Her love knew no bounds. She provided a safe haven of unwavering support, warmth, and understanding as her children were the center of her universe. She navigated the complexities of parenthood with grace and tenderness.
Her love for her family extended to her role as a grandmother. She cherished her role as “Po Po” and relished the joy of watching her grandchildren grow and thrive. Her legacy of love and guidance will continue to inspire generations to come.
She is survived by her husband, Seung Ming Wong; her children, Alison Leonard, Amy Wong; her grandchildren, Thea Lindell, Oliver Lindell, August Leonard; and a wide circle of friends and relatives who adored her. Her memory will be carried forward by all who were fortunate to have her in their lives.
Countless memories shared will be forever cherished by her family and friends. Her love, wisdom, and kindness will remain eternally in our hearts.
