Rosemary Phelan passed away at her home on April 26, 2017, at the age of 89. Rosemary, daughter of Rose and Manoel Aguiar, predeceased by brothers, Alfred and George, twin sister Eleanor, sons John and Kevin and daughter Colleen is survived by her son Michael, grandchildren, Meghan Zeller, Rick Arconti, Tara Roupp, Craig Hunt, David Hunt, John Charles Phelan, Mitchell Phelan and Marla Phelan.
Rosemary was born in Brooklyn, NY where she graduated high school, married John Thomas Phelan and began her family. After leaving Brooklyn, NY she cared for her family first in Long Island, New York then Hatboro, Pennsylvania and Eau Gallie, Florida before settling in New Milford, Connecticut, where she worked for Burndy and Amphenol Corporations until retirement. She returned to Melbourne, Florida where she lived in Trinity Towers until her recent relocation to Miami.
She will be remembered whenever we dance and laugh, eat eggplant parmigiana, chocolate ice cream, and blueberry pie.
Family and friends are invited to share in a celebration of her life on Sunday, April 30, 2017, after 4:00 pm at 4448 Nautilus Drive, Miami Beach, FL.
