Roberto’s greatest joy in life was making the people around him happy. He showed his love for people in one of two ways: he would tell you a joke or cook you a meal. If you were really special, you got both.
Roberto is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy, and their three sons, Robert (Aiko), Humberto (Cyntianna), and Jorge (Roxana); and seven grandchildren, Brielle, Stella, Valentina, Alessandra, Robert, Elizabeth, and Mina.
The family is receiving visitors on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 Bird Road, Miami, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the WOW Center. The WOW Center provides quality programs and support to individuals with developmental needs. Roberto enjoyed dressing up as Santa for the WOW Center each year. Please reference Roberto “Santa” Ortega on the “On Behalf of” line.
