Its been almost two months since we lost Robert, my good friend, keyboard player in our band, and one of the most amazing people I've ever met.  I think about you everyday my friend, especially when I look at my guitars, or hear music.....your spirit will always be part of me.  We will Rock again one day when I catch up to you !! Robbie was a big brother to so many of us growing up. He was fearless and told you exactly what he thought in language that was unequivocal and direct. It was a lesson I needed to learn  and I couldn't have had a better teacher. I'm sorry I never had a chance to tell him.

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Elias's  passing.  He was such a wonderful and talented person. I remember hearing his beautiful music playing next door. We were terribly sorry to hear of Robert's passing, and send all our love and wishes for the future to his family, to Marsha and to Carole and Paul and their families. You will miss him terribly, but his memory will give you great joy and strength in the years to come.

I have been walking around with a heavy heart since I heard of Dr. Elias' passing at noon today. I know how much he was loved and how much he'll be missed. He was an exceptional musical talent and a perfect Radiologist. A terrible loss to the community and to the numerous friends who appreciated and loved him for the kind and beautiful soul that he was.

Robert always lead his life by example, showing tremendous passion and enthusiasm for everything he did, especially for those matters involving his beloved family and his patients. We were happy to have been able to share some of those special times with him, and only wish we could have enjoyed another twenty years together. Robert will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Rest in peace my friend.

Dear Marsha & family, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your son.My thoughts &prayers are with you. I know we have not been in touch for a very long time but think of all of you often. I did'nt know Robert but  from what I am reading it seems he was a wonderful person. I  was just reflecting on  when I saw him if ever & I rembered that when we moved to California in 1961 we were together in Huntington.Be strong & stay as well as possible. Difficult time ....

So saddened to hear about the passing of Robert. I have so many fond  memories of being with all of  the Elias family while growing up in Syosset. 
They were my extended family and my thoughts and prayers are with all of them right now.

My deepest condolences to Dr. Elias' family. He was a great guy to deal with in the 17 years that we worked together.He always talked about his music and how much he enjoyed playing piano. He had a good spirit in the battle he went through, always opitimistic and willing to go to the next new treatment. We all are going to miss him and he will always  be remembered in our community.
