I remember Rafe from Blairsville, Pennsylvania in 1970. We became good friends while he was in Sigma Chi Delta fraternity in Indiana,Pa. I had no idea he was even sick. I am shocked to hear this news and wondering what happened. He would drive my little volkswagon to Latrobe with me to see my family. Just recently re connected with him then he never wrote again. My condolences to his entire family.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to Jessica, Jaime and Vivian . Rafe and I remained friends throughout the years and he was so proud of his children and adored his grandchildren.  I will always remember the love of his family.
