On Father’s Day, June 19, 2016 Rachel was stroke by a car. She was instantly taken away from her friends, family and newborn daughter way too soon.
Rachel was born and raised in Miami, FL on February 5th, 1992; she was the youngest child of Delia and Richard Foster. Rachel is also survived by her daughter Savanna, her sister Deidra and her brothers Jorge, Gabriel and Adrian.
Since she was little, her dream was to dance and perform. Rachey went to school for many years taking classes in local Dance Studios as well as Magnet Middle and High Schools. During these years she also started teaching dance to younger children. After getting her Associates Degree from MDC, and continuing to develop her performing arts skills, Rachel joined the Young Americans and had the opportunity to teach in Europe for a few months. As per her own words “The most rewarding thing about teaching young children is seeing how they learned and grow in such a short period of time”.
After she finished abroad, she Joined KLA Pre-K School in February 2015 as a teacher. At the same time she was going to school to get her Bachelor 's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
When Rachel entered a room, it lit up, not only from her smile and personality, but from her willingness to help and inspire others. She was loved by her parents, family, friends, students and really anyone she came into contact with. We will never forget what a special angel we had in Rachel. Time does not heal and our hearts are broken.
