My husband’s memory of this was very memorable because of Sir. Paul Dimare Sr. being there. The guys and labor from Circle D Farms will miss him. Our condolences go out to his family and friends. 

My father worked in the tomato industry for many years, and during that time, I was fortunate to have met Mr. DiMare and his family.  He was always very gracious to us.  On behalf of the entire Hawkins family, please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Paul and his wife were neighbors and members at Hatherly CC in Scituate, Ma. We enjoyed their company and looked forward to their Summer party every year. He was a real gentleman who was smart and easy to be with. May God bless him and his family. Brian and Linda Lane

One of my very first acts as a young Attorney in the early 80’s was to meet with Paul Dimare and Buist Rivers on several issues at their Operational Center on Johns Island…I will never forget how congenial and professional He was and how kind he was to a Brand New attorney working on some complex land and environmental issues. My condolences to the DiMare Family. Paul was a man of integrity & I feel honored to have known him. I was just a kid out of high school when I first met Paul at the cuke shed in John's Island SC. I guess I could have been best described as a baptism by fire. Through the years he was a man I held in high regard. He most certainly will be missed.

 I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather and friend to so many including my family.  I hold so many wonderful memories of our times together both here in Miami and in Scituate on our visits.  Paul was a man of integrity and a man of his word. God has blessed so many through his big heart and the philanthropy of your family. 

 I am sure he and Walter are sharing one of their favorite scotches together as they reunite in heaven.

Paul Jr, Tony, Scott, Gino  and families:  My deepest condolences on the passing of your dad. He was truly a great man. I knew him best in his role as "Grampy"  and he surely did adore all of your kids. They in turn will have such great memories and stories to share with theirs.

A giant of the tomato industry, Paul will be greatly missed.  Always a leader and innovator, I enjoyed my work, years ago, with him and his sons Tony and Scott.    As friendly competitors,  we worked together for the betterment of the Florida tomato industry and to always produce the very best product for customers and the nation. This is a very sad day for me. Paul was a very good friend for almost 50 years. I met him in 1973, the year I moved to Miami from Rome. We lived in the same apartment building in Kings Creek.
I never met a kinder, more generous person than Paul. We had so much fun together; many wonderful memories.
In 1977 we travelled to Sicily together, back to where his family originated. It was a most memorable experience for all of us. 
To Paul's family, may express my sincere, heartfelt sympathy. It's taken me several days to adjust to his loss. We will miss him so much.

I knew about Paul long before I got to meet him. His reputation as a truly caring person was legendary. When we met I immediately recognized his authenticity and heart, as he was larger than life, filling up a room with his enthusiasm and commitment to making the world a better place. His focus was squarely on the people who supported him and his work, while he also cared deeply for everyone in need. He viewed his company as a family. He wanted everyone to succeed, and to support their families to prosper and achieve the American Dream. He was a true believer. In God, in the goodness of people, and the value of hard work. He and Swanee were an inspiring team, a power couple for good, with determination and grace. We will all miss this awesome man, and will never know the many thousands whose lives were enriched because he never gave up on them.

With a heavy heart it is very difficult to let Paul J Dimare go to be with our Lord and savory…
Back in April of this year, I was blessed to visit Paul at his beautiful home along with Bill Trout, Rick Remmert, Aldo Busot, Oscar Gonzales and Myself in his office filled with memorable memories on which we discussed U football from the seventies to the present, the development of the Miller Institute of Health, the Miami project, how proud Paul is of his family,  Gino coaching baseball for the Canes and his God son,  Alonzo Highsmith… it was two to three hours of per joy to be a part of.

Rest in eternal peace, Paul, a great American, family man and C4L….
