Remembering my friend Mark. We first met at the Ste Jan Marie factory with his parents. I loved his mother. She was a good friend to me. I watched Mark grow into his job and position. He was tough in business but also loyal in friendship. 
I miss him. 

Remembering Mark.  Always a good friend. I am sorry we were out of state at the time of his service. I miss him. 

Mark was  definitely someone  that you would never forget ! He was tough but also very supportive to me throughout my  swimwear career. I hope his  children and loved ones are all doing well . All the best! 

I was devastated when I heard about the passing of Mark Sidle. It has taken me two weeks to write this as I am still processing his loss.
Mark and I were best friends for 40 years. I was new to swimwear, at the time, and learned so much beginning with Merle and then followed by Mark-
Mark and I had a very special bond that few are lucky enough to ever have.
We had great respect for each other- shared wonderful conversations-lots of  laughs.
Business was important but became secondary for us- Our friendship was always first.
Alexis and Andrew - he loved you both to the moon and back. The world  revolved around both of you.
Daryls- I am so happy that you found each other and shared wonderful memories.
I will miss you every day, my friend.
I will remember you forever and always-


I want to extend my sincere condolences to all Mark's family and friends.  I did business with Mark through out my career.  He was tough, direct and new his customers better than anyone.  Meetings with Mark could be stressful and he presented a persona that was difficult.  But I also got a chance to know  Mark on a personal level.  During a difficult time in my life he was a tremendous listener and confidant.  He was warm and sympathetic in direct contrast to his tough exterior.    Mark was a legend in our business and will be missed.  May he be a blessed memory.

My sincerest condolences to Darlys, Bob & the rest of Mark's family. I had the unique pleasure of working at Swim N Sport twice in the home office for the buying department for sportswear & accessories.  Mark's office was across mine both instances and although he was very firm he was always fair and always had his heart in the company. I learned so much from him and Albert in terms of business sense and being precise in vendor meetings.  He taught me how to be very analytical in my reporting and put myself in the mind of the customer always. "Customer is king". He is truly an innovator for the swimwear industry and I admire how he grew his father's business. He had a wicked sense of humor and I loved our cafecito times especially when vendors visited from out of town. Working at Swim taught me a lot and was really a dream come true. I will always remember the good times & hold the work experiences acquired under his & Darlys leadership very dear to my heart. Thank you for trusting in me during my times with a segment of your business. Even though things didn't work out, I always think highly of my times & experience there. May you rest in peace & I send you my love and sincerest condolences to Darlys & his family.

 I had the honor of  working with Mark  and his amazing sister Marsha and brother-in-law Bob for almost 3 years in the company that he and his father built together. He introduced me to the world of swim more than 10 years ago and I  still live in that market today.  I learned a lot from him and I’m pleased to say that I heard he also learned things from me. Definitely a unique relationship and one that I will never forget.   He gave me opportunities and trusted me with things in his company that he had not with anyone before.   
My heart is very heavy for his children Alexis and Andrew and the rest of the Sidle family  as they mourn this loss.  I truly hope he spent the last year of his life, after retirement, enjoying and embracing life to the fullest!
 May he rest in peace and may his family find comfort during this very difficult time.

My heart is heavy & my thoughts are full of the past 30 years that I worked for Mark & his family. I was once asked who my mentor was, and with no hesitation I said my Dad & Mark Sidle. RIP and may your legacy never be forgotten.

I always looked forward to our meetings. They were always driven by Mark’s sense of humor and desire for excellence.

Knowing Mark for over 45 years, it has given me great pause to suddenly hear of his tragic  loss. 
He was a man of strong character and great passion for maintaining  and growing the legacy of his family business. 
Mark and I shared both a business and personal friendship that lasted a lifetime, and my condolences go out to his family, that he loved so very much.
