So many years as friends. Wonderful travels and many laughs. Will always remember her great personality. We became friends in 8th grade as we both moved to Homestead at the same time. Miss her very much and dream of her occasionally.

Many years of wonderful memories of Marcia. My favorite traveling friend. Many years of spending summer in North Carolina. I miss your friendship and sense of humor. 

Marcia and I shared many joys over the years. I am grateful for the memories of a special friend. I regret that we allowed the flame of our friendship to flicker over the past years. In my last phone conversation, Marcia expressed her gratitude for the support she was receiving from her sons and daughters-in-law. She loved her family.

Two  of my favorite memories of Marcia was a ladies night sleep over at her cabin in N.C.   The other was when we went to my place for the weekend at Lake Chatuge.  I told her there were not places to shop but she managed to find a few things anyway.  How she loved to shop.  She always made me laugh.  I will miss her.  So glad I got to spend time with her on the last visit to Donna Roaches.

We will miss Marcia very much. She was always such a positive spirit.  She will live in our hearts.

I know how special both of your relationships was with your mother.  At Hanna's Bat Mitzvah she was gushing about her two sons and grandchildren. She told me how blessed and proud she was of her two boys. The entire time she was smiling from ear to ear and expressed the joy you both brought to her life. My condolences to the entire family. I am so so sorry for your loss. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew about Marcia long before I met her through my cousin, June Lando. When June’s health was declining, Marcia came to Cleveland to visit her, I believe that was in 2008.  Several months later, June passed away and Marcia and I filled our loss with each other.  We did a long weekend in NYC and I visited her in Boynton and North Carolina several times. The past few years we talked on the phone frequently sharing many, many laughs. She was a force of nature and I will never forget her.

Marcia will always have a place in my heart. So many memories from  eighth grade on. The many wonderful times in North Carolina and cruises exploring the world. Her humor was unmatched .  I appreciate her genuine kindness to me all of these years. She will never be forgotten. 

It’s been close to 60 years since I first met Marcia.  She dated my brother Paul at that time.  They dated for a few years but then went on to lead separate lives.  But we kept in contact with Marcia over the years.  A few years ago she met up with Paul again in California, but by that time my brother was already ill.  We did zoom Paul a few times in the past year and Marcia participated which was nice of her. Paul passed away January 9, 2021 but I didn’t tell Marcia.

Last Saturday, I sent her some homemade Schnecken (I’m not sure how to spell it). It was a bit of a gesture since I knew her appetite was pretty diminished but I considered the possibility that she might be able to try one. I hope she found some humor in it.  She raved about them when I sent her some a few years ago. I have many memories of funny stories that she never seemed to run out of.  

I’m not sure what happens after we leave the planet but I would love it if she met up with her life time friend, June, who she dearly missed.

Yes, we go back pretty far and she too will be dearly missed.
