Manuel was born February 11, 1938 in Tampa, Florida.
Manuel married Margarita Nigaglioni on November 25,1972.
Manuel achieved a Masters in Hospital Business Administration from the University of Miami in 1982. He served as the Administrator of Palm Springs General Hospital from 1974-2004. He was an avid stamp collector and a member of the South Miami Stamp Collector Club.
He was a dedicated and loving husband, a father that demonstrated that greatness could be achieved through hard work and passion and a man that exemplified that a humble spirit and joyous heart could improve the lives of all around him. Manuel Fernandez will be forever missed.
Manuel is survived by his spouse, Margarita Fernandez; son Daniel Fernandez; daughter Margaret J. Fernandez; and son Manuel Arturo Fernandez, Jr.
A visitation for Manuel will be held Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Little Havana, 3344 SW 8TH ST, MIAMI, FL 33135.
A mass for Manuel will occur Monday, May 17, 2021 from 1:00 PM at St Raymond's Catholic Church, 3475 SW 17th Street, Miami, FL 33145. His committal service will follow Monday, May 17, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th Street, Miami, FL 33172.
