Manolo was born in Cruces, Cuba in 1934. He was a man who lived for his family and friends, giving his love and support unconditionally. His greatest legacy was his unwavering commitment to his family. He sacrificed his career and dreams in Cuba to bring his family to the United States, where they would have the freedom to make their own choices. He instilled in them the importance of family, hard work, and lifelong friendships. Manolo was always the life of the party. He was a true mentor, guide, and friend.
As Manolo's family says goodbye to him, they vow to carry on his legacy and to always keep his memory alive in their hearts. Manolo will be deeply missed, but he will never be forgotten.
Manolo is survived by his wife Maria Roca, his children Manny (and Beatriz) Vidal, Nydia (and Michael) Castellano, Maite Roca, and Antonio (and Vivian) Roca. He was also a loving grandfather to Elisa and Emily Castellano, and Matteo, Dante, and Luca Roca.
His life will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 29, at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 Bird Road, Miami FL 33155.
