Luis Martinez

Luis Rolando Martinez from Miami Beach, born on April 3, 1928 died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, March 1, 2013. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, uncle and family man. He was born in Mantua, Pinar Del Rio, Cuba to Maria Gonzalez and Luis Martinez. He is survived by his wife who was the love of his life Rosa. His children who he adored Luis Ramon his wife Marlene, Rolando his wife Muriel, Marielita who he would refer to in a special loving way, and his daughter Clara Susana. He is also survived by his only sister Marta, and her children. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Coco, Nicky, Andre, Nelson and Barbara. He was always a very loving brother -in-law to his wife's sister Migdalia and a awesome uncle to her daughter Trini who was not only his niece but also his God Child, and her children Krystal and Rafi. Baseball was his passion. But, he also enjoyed Jai Alai which he would attend on a regular basis with his son Rolando. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He will be missed forever. But he will always remain in our hearts. Until we meet again. We love you and will never forget you.
