Luis E. Figueroa Jr.

Luis was born December 8, 1957 in New York City, New York to the late Aida Torres Mejias and Luis E. Figueroa Sr. He grew up in the Bronx, New York and spent the last 25 years of his life in Miami, Florida. Luis graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx and Bernard M. Baruch College in New York City earning Cum Laude designation during his tenure.

Luis invested many years within the IT profession where he was a Senior Management Executive, Program Manager and Senior IT Auditor managing technology, operational risk and business strategies. This expertise allowed Luis to work with various Fortune 500 companies, CBS Inc., Sony Music Entertainment, Inc., RGP Consulting, ADT Security and Bayview Asset Management.

Luis’ heart was large and supported many in need. He was a kind soul, generous with his time and philanthropy with various organizations in the Bronx and South Florida.

Luis is survived by his father, Luis E. Figueroa, Sr., his sister, Wanda Figueroa-Kilroy, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Godchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Stepchild and many dear Friends.

A Catered Dinner Reception will take place at 7pm inside Alhambra Venue on the 3rd Floor at Caballero Rivero Little Havana.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, June 24th, 2022, from 7-9pm with the Prayer Service at 8:30pm with Father Francisco presiding.

In lieu of flowers, you can make donations to the Bronx Boys & Girls Club, Autism Speaks, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, and Miami Rescue Mission.
