I am heartbroken to hear of Linda‘s passing. My sincere condolences to the Rizvi’s Family. I am praying that God gives you strength and peace at this difficult time. Linda was a beautiful person. She was kind and always giving of herself and her time. I still remember all the fundraising activities we did together to take the fifth grade safety patrol students to Boston on a field trip. She was the best room mom and friend a teacher could ever have.  I can still hear her laughter and see her sweet smile. She was such a dedicated mom. Even though we haven’t talked recently, she’s always in my heart!

Linda was one of the kindest people I have ever met. She was a close friend of my mothers and I always enjoyed seeing them spend time together. They were always supporting, motivating and uplifting each other while laughing the entire time. She was funny, considerate, genuine and a wonderful friend to my mother and our family. She will be greatly missed.

Linda was such a kind and generous soul. She was always giving of herself and her time.  She especially loved kids and animals and they in turn were drawn to her kind spirit. It is such a sudden and unexpected loss for all those who loved and cared for her. We will all miss her.

She ‘s super cool, I knew her as Sam’s mom but she was also kind of my own Florida mom throughout college. She was always like super excited and was always around to help or to just have fun and it’s gonna be real different without her around. 
We always said hi to each other through Animal Crossing or whenever she was with Sam on voice chat. I think she’ll always be with us when we water our flowers.

I am heartbroken to hear of Linda’s passing. When I was in seventh grade, “Miss Linda” was truly like a second mother to me. She drove me home from school every day, and some of my very favorite childhood memories are staying at the house for sleepovers.

She was always so incredibly generous. I remember how she would insist on buying me a book (or several) when we were at the bookstore. She even bought me my copy of Twilight, which started a whole new obsession for me. I still have it too! One time, Sam got mad at me because I wouldn’t quit talking about Twilight despite their requests that I stop (totally understandable), so I started walking home instead of riding with them. But then as I was walking, Linda pulled up next to me in the minivan and insisted on driving me anyway.

I sometimes think of how Linda would often order a buffet style meal for us, and would encourage us to pile all the different foods on the plate and mix it together, because “it’s all going to the same place,” and I still think that was such a funny and charming philosophy.

Another thing I loved about Linda is that she actually played Animal Crossing—I mean how cool is that? How many parents of teenagers even play video games? If I remember right, her favorite thing was cheating her way into millions of bells and leaving them scattered all over the ground.

I have so many memories of having so much fun with her and Sam—from eating at the Magic Time Machine, to Disney World and Universal Studios, to the countless sleepovers and movie nights.

Even though we didn’t keep in touch recently, she did check in with me over Facebook shortly after my dad passed away, and gave some sweet words of sympathy and encouragement. I will always remember her as the most loving, welcoming, and generous woman. My deepest condolences to the family.


I am so stunned and heart-broken to hear of Linda’s passing.  She and I knew of each other at Saint Thomas episcopal and then  became very good friends during high school during our years at Westminster Christian.  She, her aunt and grandmother lived just several blocks away from where I lived and I would go over to her house all the time to hang out her family and beloved basset hound, Phineas.
We stayed  in touch throughout and after our college years, attended each other’s weddings and used to take my son Sean and her daughter Sara on play dates and attended their birthday parties when they were very young.  And as often is the case when we get older, life got in the way and we lost touch, however, whenever we did reconnect from time to time, we always were able to pick up where we left off as it no time had passed. 
Linda was a brilliant  light filled with love, compassion, humor, faith and joy that she shared with with all whom were blessed to know her. To know Linda was to love her .  She was a blessing and I will always remember her as a being a very special and  dear friend. She loved her family very much and adored Sara; my sincere condolences to her  family.

Linda I love ❤️ you soooo much! Thank you for always encouraging me and having my back even when it was the worst ideas  💡 I could possibly think of and also laughing  at all my corny jokes! You came to my rescue countless times  when I needed it the most and you never look down on me or treated me different. I’m so grateful that you were apart of my life. I regret not spending  more time with you my Linda Binda :( 
You were the perfect example of a true/ real friend!

Just last week Linda bought for us a set of markers to study our bibles together. We went out to lunch, read devotionals and we laughed about how many sets of markers she had bought for us. We then went to her home and studied the Bible. It was a beautiful day. 

I will always remember you, I feel you are with me every time I open the Bible. Farewell my friend, you were more like a sister to me and I will miss you so much. You’ll always be in my heart. Your friendship was a blessing.

Linda was a dear friend who I could always count on for a smile, an encouraging word, a shining example. I will miss her deeply.
