I was blessed to meet Lenny as a young law student in Brooklyn, NY in 1983. He was smart and charming and funny and full of amazing stories about criminal defense. He was also a heck of a lawyer in a time that was far removed from today. Lenny had a heart of gold and what was in that heart was his family. After regaling me with yet another story of a case filled with characters straight out of Damon Runyon Novel, he would get a soft twinkle in his eye and tell me about his son and daughter. I am sure one of the reasons I became a criminal defense attorney was because of Lenny.  I’m sorry we lost touch over these past years but seeing the wonderful photographs tells me he was surrounded by his family in retirement and I’m sure he was a very happy and content man. Rest In Peace old friend.
