Dr. Judith Holland

Our beloved Judy passed away Feb. 13th, at her home in Miami Shores, FL surrounded by her friends and family. Judy was preceded in death by her husband Norman Holland and son George Wartell. She is survived by her sister Margery Rosin (Herbert); her daughter Debbie Chapman; her grandsons Adam Chapman (Jessica) and Jared Chapman (Ingrid); her great grandsons Bryce and Aiden; and her dearest friend, Rhoda Kern.

During Judy’s tenure as the CEO of the Hope Center, a school for the mentally disabled, Judy received numerous accolades including “Humanitarian of the Year” as awarded by President Ronald Regan and the key to the City of Miami Beach. Over her lifetime she served on many boards, was the VP of Mt. Sinai Hospital Center, and the President of the Towers of Quayside HOA. She will be missed by many and the legacy she has left behind will be remembered forever.

Her memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb. 18th at the Aventura Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel at 2:30pm (20955 Biscayne Blvd).
