Juan, our beloved father, passed away peacefully the morning of November 23,
2016.
From his humble beginnings in General Alvear, Mendoza, Argentina, Juan
touched the lives of many people on three continents, with his positive outlook,
good humor, and vast life experiences. His 94 years brought joy to many, as he
lived every day to its fullest. He lived a long and wonderful life with many
accomplishments and successes. His many friends, neighbors and colleagues at
Exxon and FIU, praised him as a conscientious and caring person, intelligent,
involved and overall, a good man.
Juan now joins in Heaven his cherished wife of 70 years, Mercedes (Pichy as
she was widely known) and his eldest son Alberto. He is survived by four
children: Armando, Carlos (Cato), Laura, and José. Juan and Pichy were also
blessed with eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
