Josefina Mieres

Born in Havana Cuba on January 6th, 1932. Only child of Luis Gonzalez Buigas and Blanca Huerta.

Graduate of Merici Academy in Havana and Alumni of Fordham University, New York.

Upon her arrival in Miami, she had a career in banking until her retirement. She was predeceased in life by her husband Fernando D. Mieres, her parents, her aunt and uncle Blas, M. Rocafort, Ⅲ and Dolores Rocafort, Best friends Raul and Betty Adler of Cliffside Park, N.J. and son in law Harold Ignacio Elosegui.

Survived by her only child Maria Del Carmen Balbona Elosegui, Cousin Rosario Gonzalez Landa of Gijon, Asturias, Spain and Goddaughter Virginia Maria Balbona of Atlanta, GA.
