Miss you so much everyday I get up and not seeing you is so hard for me you are my best friend we were inseparable like gum stuck together always together everywhere  always energetic nobody young moved like you !!! we planted together , cut grass ,cooked .  We went grocery shopping , he loved shopping  . Loved the beach enjoyed being with family that’s what life is about sharing time together you are always in my heart papi . 
You are missed dearly. in spirit you are here with me and the family 🙏💕

Taken Friday, 9/16/2022. A great man for all  of us who knew him. He loved coming to Miami to be in his home, enjoying his time cutting the grass, going grocery shopping, driving his cars, enjoying time with his family. A man of God, always so energetic and positive.  He is sleeping and resting in peace.

Jose Maria, so many people remember you for being a hard working,  filled with such energy and strength, always a provider and family oriented man with a kind greeting smile always on your face. My memories will dig so much deeper within the depths of my heart where they could never be forgotten nor erased. First and foremost I thank our Mighty God and Savior for blessing me with you in my life, a second earthly father that only treated me with love, kindness, true concern and tenderness respect. There was never a bend in your righteousness nor were you easily persuaded otherwise. This made you a true spirit of God and for me a living angel on earth which I had the privilege to spend all these years with and share all our special moments together.
I love you and will truly miss you till the day we're together again forever. 

He had always expressed to me ever since a young age that anyone can be a parent, but only few can be a true Mom or Dad. Papi was everything to me. He was the best dad, my best friend, and a wonderful wise guide. He was a protector, a provider, and a wonderful example to me. You taught me to work hard every day as you did without any complaints: on and on...and on!

He loved people and life. With the way he lived day to day, you would think he had no worries in this world. He was patient, kind, and never seemed to get upset. He always had a calm solution no matter the circumstance. I stride to follow your steps as the wonderful mentor you were and through memories still are to me. 

Although you left me behind in this troubled world, you will be in my heart and mind daily helping me get through this life until the day we hug each other again up in our heavenly Father's house, in the glorious place that you live in now with God Our Creator and Jesus Our Savior. Until then, I'll make you proud.

Jose Maria was a man of honor, integrity perspicacity who never failed to inspire those around him. I have never seen a more tenacious man in his elder years, he would often be outside in the early hours of the day conducting maintenance on the beautiful home he worked so hard to build for those he loves and holds dearly. He was insightful and very wise, even being so gracious to bestow upon those he spoke to his words of advice whenever he had the chance. He was a fighter and never showed an ounce of fear or anger with his situation, smiling in the face of uncertainty and facing his woes and endeavors with a smile that only a true man would wear.
